This specialization deals with the possibilities, concepts and methods of digitizing manufacturing processes in factories. The “digitalized factory” is a reference model that can be used in various forms by any type of manufacturing company. A sound knowledge of standards, system responsibilities and standards enables students to implement digitalization in manufacturing companies on the basis of Industry 4.0 concepts.
