Don’t make AI too complicated

𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮 “𝗞𝗜” 𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘇𝗲𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗮̈𝘂𝗳𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻 𝘇𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻.

Roadmaps are drawn up for 24 months, training and qualification programs are set up, budgets are planned, HR is involved, external consultants are brought in (for a lot of money) and company-wide AI strategies are designed right from the start.

𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘀!

Unfortunately, these beautifully planned and long-term AI implementations often have to be completely scrapped after just a few months because the technology is much faster than your company.

𝗗𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗳𝗲𝗵𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗻:
– a short and effective “𝗚𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘂𝗻𝗴” for everyone (function, ethics, data protection, tools)
– then 𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲 go
– 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗪𝗶𝗻’𝘀 take away, where possible
– keep employees 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗴
– build 𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗼̈𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻 to achieve a competitive advantage
– 𝗙𝗲𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗿 allow (or even encourage)

On this basis, you can gradually build a stable AI strategy that can grow, develop and adapt. In the knowledge that your employees / your company will constantly gain experience.

𝗗𝗶𝗲 𝗞𝗜-𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗿 𝗸𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻. 𝗨𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗿 𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘂𝘁. 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗶 𝗜𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻 / 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘂̈𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻.

In my view, AI is one of the areas that must be approached with maximum agility. Fast, flexible, courageous and curious.
