Why?
1. we need to engage with the possibilities of new technologies openly, ðŧðēððīðķðēðŋðķðī ððŧðą ððŋðŪðŧðð―ðŪðŋðēðŧð
2. the student has engineered excellent prompts and used AI to deliver an above-average solution and still be able to ð·ðēðąðē ððēðķðđðē ðąðēð ðīðēðŧðŋðķðēðŋððēðŧ ðĪððēðđðđð°ðžðąðēð ððēðŋðððŪðŧðąðēðŧ and explain (thus probably also learning significantly more than with copy&paste) ðĪððēðđðđð°ðžðąðēð 3.pasting)
3. If someone uses AI transparently (i.e. not for “cheating”, but for “learning”), then ðļðŋðēðŪððķððēð ðĢðŋðžðšð―ð-ððŧðīðķðŧðēðēðŋðķðŧðī is included in my assessment of their own performance.
The student in the above case also shared his findings with all his fellow students in the lecture – everyone was able to benefit from them.

I know there are many controversial opinions here, which I have learned to respect and appreciate in many discussions. But my attitude is clear:
