This specialization deals with the possibilities, concepts and procedures for the digitalization of manufacturing processes in factories. The "digitalized factory" is a reference model that can be applied in various forms in any type of manufacturing company. Through a sound knowledge of standards, system responsibilities and standards, students are enabled to implement digitalization in manufacturing companies based on Industry 4.0 concepts.
