In the new version of the topic “Machine Learning and AI”, we will take a complete “round trip” through the world of artificial intelligence this semester at the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen. Specifically, we will deal with

– Neural networks, network architectures, activation functions
– Transformers, GANs, RNNs, etc.
– Learning methods (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcing), training, synthetic data

– Prompt engineering
– API accesses, ML pipelines, fine-tuning
– Practical examples with Llama, ElevenLabs, Synthesia, Firefly, Gemini, Chat GPT and Copilot
– Ethics and security, corporate use
